Antiques Extravaganza of
NC is a family-owned business which was founded in 1977,
based on an "antiques and old collectibles only" concept.
This unique concept was a hit with customers, and the first
show - the Winston-Salem (NC) Antiques Extravaganza - was an immediate success.
| Drawing dealers and customers from throughout
North Carolina and its neighboring states, the popularity of the show led to a second show
date in November of that year. |
In July of 1979, Antiques Extravaganza of NC expanded
its shows to Raleigh (NC) and was once again well accepted. Customer
and dealer response necessitated a second show date
there also. |
The first venture out-of-state for Antiques
Extravaganza Shows was in October,1985 - the first Richmond (VA) Antiques
Extravaganza Show & Sale. This successful show soon evolved into a
semi-annual event as well.
In 1990, Antiques Extravaganza of NC expanded
into South Carolina. The first show was held at the Palmetto Expo
Center in Greenville (SC) and remained there until 2002, when it moved to the Waccamaw Expo
Center in nearby Spartanburg. (The center has since been renamed the
Spartanburg Expo Center.) |
| The Spartanburg Antiques Extravaganza draws
customers from throughout the South. |
All Antiques Extravaganza of NC Shows feature quality dealers from Florida
